This interactive session explores how artificial intelligence, mental health literacy, and ethics of care can work together to foster inclusive, supportive, and flourishing learning environments in higher education. Participants will examine the opportunities and challenges AI presents for student well-being, belonging, and equitable learning experiences, while considering the importance of recognizing and responding to mental health needs with empathy and care. Throughout the workshop, participants will explore practical strategies for integrating mental health literacy and care-centered approaches into their classrooms and support practices, identify ethical considerations that promote trust, inclusion, and student flourishing; and commit to one actionable step they can implement to create learning environments where every learner has the opportunity to thrive.
