Family Weekend
Family Weekend is a great way to spend quality time with your student! Choose your own adventure, and explore the best that Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ and the Brookings community have to offer.
- Free admission to Family Weekend! Registration is encouraged and required for the football game ticket discount code.
- The Family Weekend registration form will go live on Wednesday, July 29, and once registered, you will receive the code to use when buying tickets at beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
- Please Note: While we have a large block of tickets set aside with this discount code, we anticipate them selling out quickly.
- Guests will be able to request up to two complimentary tickets for seating in the designated Family Weekend section and can purchase up to two additional tickets.
- If you wish to have your SDSU student sit in the Family Weekend section of the stadium during the game, they will need a ticket for that section. Their SDSU student ID will only allow them entry into the SDSU student section at the south end zone of the stadium if they request a student ticket beginning the week of game day.
- If you have a larger party, please call the SDSU ticket office at 605-688-5422 to inquire about more tickets.
- Due to the allotment selling out quickly, all requests may not be accommodated.

- Explore downtown Brookings.
- Take a stroll through McCrory Gardens.
- Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Visit the Miller Wellness Center.
Saturday, Sept. 26
- Explore downtown Brookings.
- Visit downtown for the Brookings Farmers Market running from 9 a.m.-noon.
- Take a stroll through McCrory Gardens.
- Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Visit the Miller Wellness Center.
- Stop by the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum.
- Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Stop by the Agricultural Heritage Museum to see our exhibits, or stop by our collection storage building north of the museum and take a behind-the-scenes tour of part of our large artifact collection. Both the museum and collection storage tour are free and open to the public.
- Check out the South Dakota Art Museum and its unique exhibits and gift shop.
- Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Shop Jackrabbit Central for the largest selection of SDSU apparel.
- Pick up some SDSU ice cream, and enjoy yard games at the Family Weekend tailgate.
- The tailgate will begin at 11 a.m. on the south lawn of the Miller Wellness Center and will go until 1 p.m.
- Enjoy The Pride of the Dakotas Marching Band.
- Watch the Jackrabbits football team take the field.
Sunday, Sept. 27
- Take a stroll through McCrory Gardens.
- Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Attend the Party on the Porch from 1-3 p.m.
- Free admission to the gardens, live music and beverage options. Bring your own chair or blanket.
- Visit the Miller Wellness Center.
- Visit the South Dakota Agriculture Museum.
- Hours are 1-5 p.m.
- Check out the South Dakota Art Museum and its unique exhibits and gift shop.
- Hours are noon-4 p.m.
