Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ

Mezzo-soprano Dr. Emily Wood Toronto will present a faculty recital on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on the campus of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ. Carson Covey, an SDSU alumnus, will accompany the program. Dr. Michael Walsh, SDSU Professor of Clarinet, Music Entrepreneurship, and Music History, will also perform. The recital, titled Hearts on Fire, will include Louis Spohr’s Six German Songs, op. 103, and four art songs by British composer Herbert Howells. The program will also feature Edvard Grieg’s Hjertets Melodier (Heart Songs), three art songs by Brazilian composer Alberto Nepomuceno, and the premiere of four art songs by Brazilian composer Helza de Cordoville Camêu.
