Students from Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ are preparing to attend the annual Commodity Classic, the nation’s largest farmer-led and farmer-focused agricultural trade show, thanks to the continued generosity of alumni and industry donors.

Presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jon Meacham headlines this year’s Daschle Dialogues on April 7 on the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ campus. This year’s event is being held in First Bank & Trust Arena.

The annual Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Celebration of Faculty Excellence recognized more than two dozen faculty members, researchers and scholars Tuesday. The event honors faculty members in the university's colleges for outstanding research, teaching and service.

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Department of Animal Science has been named the 2025 North American Limousin Foundation Promoter of the Year following its collaborative efforts in conducting a multiyear beef cattle research study.

Longtime Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ administrator and faculty member Greg Heiberger has been named dean of the Van D. and Barbara B. Fishback Honors College following a national search.

Like building any bridge, forming a stronger connection between Brookings and Sioux Falls takes time and investment. Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ committed both — and now is building on success that benefits each community.

Two women's passion for service inspired Larson throughout her nursing career and as a sister. And they continue to guide her in her new national leadership role as the president of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious. She’ll hold the position for one year and then serve as past president for a year.
