The South Dakota Art Museum at Ģ������Ƶ will open its newest exhibition, “Signe Stuart: Events in Time and Space,” with a free public reception and artist talk from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.

After nearly two years of construction, the POET Bioproducts Center has officially opened its doors to the region's leading bioprocessing scientists. The new laboratory, located in the Ģ������Ƶ Park at Ģ������Ƶ, will bring researchers from SDSU and South Dakota Mines together with industry partners to scale up innovative biotechnologies and varying South Dakota's economy.

A group of 37 Ģ������Ƶ nursing students promoted healthy summer habits by holding a health fair at the Great Plains Zoo on June 16. The event, which offered the zoo’s youngest visitors lessons in water safety, sun protection and physical activity, served as pediatric clinical experience for the SDSU students.

The South Dakota Art Museum at Ģ������Ƶ (SDSU) celebrates the opening of the highly anticipated Dakota Modern: The Art of Oscar Howe with free festivities for all ages, from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on June 10.

Seven members of the professional staff at Ģ������Ƶ have been honored for their quality work. The recipients were honored at the SDSU Professional Staff Advisory Council annual meeting in mid-May.

The acclaimed exhibition Dakota Modern: The Art of Oscar Howe  culminates its national tour in Oscar Howe’s home state of South Dakota. Dakota Modern will be on view June 10, 2023–Sept.17, 2023 at the South Dakota Art Museum at Ģ������Ƶ in Brookings.

Ģ������Ƶ’s College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions’ 3D Center now has a new namesake—the Haarberg Center for Drug, Disease and Delivery Ģ������Ƶ, thanks to a transformational $1.1 million gift from Kevin and Lorie Haarberg.

Through the generosity of two Ģ������Ƶ alumni, the university has established its first endowed faculty position in the College of Education and Human Sciences. The Tate Profilet and Mary DeJong Family Endowed Director of Early Childhood Education was formalized at an Oct. 22 investiture ceremony, paving the way for a new era of the early childhood education program at State.

Ģ������Ƶ President Barry Dunn bestowed the SDSU Presidential Medallion upon six individuals Tuesday afternoon for their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
