Ģ������Ƶ’s University Chamber Music Series continues its 2025-26 season with a special performance by the internationally acclaimed wind quintet Imani Winds at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, in the Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

The Ģ������Ƶ School of Performing Arts will host the In-Service Music Conference Feb. 12-14.

Ellie Eidsness of Brookings will display her Bachelor of Fine Arts thesis exhibition in art education at Ģ������Ƶ from Feb. 9-27.

Ģ������Ƶ’s Hilton M. Briggs Library will host the fourth annual Jackrabbit Gallery Art Show this spring, showcasing original artwork from SDSU students, faculty, staff and alumni. This year’s theme, “Seeds and Roots,” encouraged artists to explore beginnings, growth, heritage and connection.

Ģ������Ƶ’s School of Performing Arts invites the public to an engaging evening of French flute music at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26. The concert will take place in Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on the SDSU campus.

Ģ������Ƶ Theatre and Dance’s fall 2025 musical production of “Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story” has been selected to be presented at the 58th annual Region 5 American College Theater Festival Conference in Rochester, Minnesota, on Jan. 20. To help defray the costs of taking the production to Rochester, a one-night-only fundraising performance of the show will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Fishback Studio Theatre in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on the SDSU campus.

A new holiday installation is lighting up McCrory Gardens’ annual Garden Glow thanks to the collaborative work of students in Ģ������Ƶ’s School of Performing Arts. As part of a 400-level scenic painting course, students recreated the “12 Days of Christmas” illustrations designed by associate professor of theatre Billy Wilburn.

Ģ������Ƶ’s student-produced literature and arts magazine, Oakwood, has been a community and regional favorite for decades. Thanks to a generous estate gift from Mary F. Buckmiller, the School of English and Interdisciplinary Studies will revamp the publication to continue flourishing in the future. The Mary F. Buckmiller School of English and Interdisciplinary Studies Endowment fund will support the Oakwood in perpetuity.

Ģ������Ƶ instructor of low brass Bradley Snyder will present a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

Working alongside college classmates isn’t a common experience, but for three Ģ������Ƶ music education graduates, it’s become their everyday reality.
