Kyle LaPorte serve as the lead clinical pharmacist in the Hematology, Transplant and Cellular Therapies clinic within the Avera Cancer Institute. It's within this space that he serves as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team by providing a variety of pharmacy and educational services to the healthcare team, the patient and caregivers in an effort to optimize collaborative, patient-centered care. He also works closely with pharmacy students and residents to educate and incorporate them into clinical care activities.

Beyond his clinical role, he teaches the oncology and hematology curriculum and coordinates the oncology and hematology elective.
